The new converting facility became operational with the aim of increasing its market share in branded products and exports in fast-moving consumption. More than 40% of the total produced roll paper could be processed in the converting facility and converting capacity of 109,000 tons/year was reached.

The status of Export Leader was achieved in the paper, cardboard, packaging and stationery products category of the Istanbul Exporters Union.

The second paper production line TM2 was established and the total paper production capacity was increased to 140,000 tons/year. As a result of this investment, the way was paved for a significant increase in export levels in the following years.

The “first social responsibility project” of the tissue paper industry was implemented with the Maylo brand. By collaborating with the Turkish Education Volunteers Foundation, it was aimed to support TEGV with every Maylo product sold and to provide children with quality education. Within the scope of the project, the TEGV logo was placed on all Maylo packages.

FMCG production started. Sofia, Maylo, Ultra Berrak and Nua brands were launched.

Lila Tekstil Boya Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. was established for the purpose of yarn dyeing activities.
